December 3rd, 2011. Bridgewater Scouts travelled about 2 miles south of Crab orchard on Hwy 39 to Cruse Knob looking for the rock that the men of the 33rd Indiana Volunteer Infantry had carved their names in while stationed prior to arriving to the Battle of Wildcat Mountain.
